Contestants are only required to recite the material once.

Contestants must report the title (if applicable), and if the author's name is already listed in the designated recitation, contestants must report the title together with the author's name, than. Video Submission Requirements for Preliminary and Final Competitions

At the beginning of the video, the participant must clearly state his/her full name, and his/her face, movements and voice must be clearly recorded.
Video must be live and not dubbed.
Video must be 1080p or higher resolution, 4:3 or 16:9 ratio is acceptable, landscape or portrait.
Video length must not exceed 3 minutes, format must be MP4, and video size must not exceed 1GB.
Each participant can only submit once. Participants are requested to submit the final version of the video.
When submitting the video, please name the video file as the participant's name and the project name (e.g. XXX_Chinese Group).
It is recommended to shoot in well-lit or light-colored backgrounds, please do not use special effects AI or other unnatural moisturizing effects.
Contestants can flexibly incorporate personalized performance elements of literary speech according to the characteristics of the work. On the basis of the original recitation material into the makeup, costume, music, props, the form of choice.
The video must be shot in its original form, with no special effects such as graphics, text, filters, transitions, color grading, lighting, subtitles, etc., and no editing or post-production is allowed.

Terms & Conditions

The application information in this application form is for the processing of the Executive Committee of the Hot Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Speech Contest (hereinafter referred to as the Executive Committee) only. For access to or correction of personal information, please contact GAPSK's official WeChat number (GAPSKGBA).
This event is free of charge for individual participants.
Participants who are awarded prizes may apply for customized trophies, medals and certificates with their names printed on them. For those who are not shortlisted, they may also apply for an e-certificate with the participant's name printed on it. Details of the ordering process and fees will be announced later.
Each participant can only participate in the same age group as that of his/her current age group. The Executive Committee reserves the right to request the participant to provide relevant proofs if necessary.
Each participant may enter more than one project at the same time, and must upload the video before the deadline; when uploading the video, choose the designated recitation material for the competition.
Each participant must carefully check his/her entry details, competition level and project for accuracy when making an entry; no changes can be made once an entry is made, and an administrative fee of HK$300 (per entry) will be charged for any changes made.
Each participant is only allowed to register once and upload video for each competition project. The Executive Committee reserves the right to disqualify the participant in case of repetition.
The Executive Committee has the right to cancel the competition if there are not enough participants in the category or project.
The Executive Committee will not accept any application for entry or submission after the deadline.
The Executive Committee reserves the right to reject any video that does not meet the specifications of the competition and its decision is final.
After the selection of the finalists, if the finalists are unable to attend the online live video finals, they will be deemed to have forfeited the competition and no other arrangement will be made.
Participants, their instructors, parents and guardians are responsible for arranging their own expenses to travel to Hong Kong to participate in the Final, including transportation, accommodation and insurance.
The Executive Committee reserves the right to arrange the date, time and other details of the competition and participants are not allowed to disagree; if the time of the competition needs to be changed, an administrative fee of HK$300 will be charged for each change; for participants who are taking part in more than one competition at the same time, if there is any conflict in the time of the competition, please contact the Association immediately.
Participants are required to join the official WeChat (GAPSKGBA). The Executive Committee will announce the latest news through WeChat, e-mail and the official website of the competition, and participants are required to pay attention to the relevant news updates without prior notice.
Participants are required to read the "Competition Handbook", competition time and other competition details and information, and the Association will not be responsible for any impact on the competition.
Participants are required to log in to the online competition system 10-15 minutes before the competition time to register, please present your name and photo identification documents during registration, if you fail to provide the relevant documents, the Association reserves the right to disqualify you from the competition.
Only one participant is allowed to be in the camera during the competition and no other person is allowed to appear in the picture. In case of violation, the Association reserves the right to disqualify the participant from the competition, and the participant shall not object.
During the competition, no one is allowed to give any kind of hints to the participants, such as directing, lip-synching, movement, etc. Once discovered, the Association reserves the right to disqualify the participants.
Participants must strictly comply with the instructions of our staff. Violation of the rules and repeated advice will result in disqualification from the competition.
The entrant understands and agrees that the Executive Committee has the right to record all materials, including photographs, audio recordings, videos or any uploaded information. All such rights are granted to the organizers on an irrevocable, unconditional, unrestricted and uncompensated basis. All contests will be recorded and publicly displayed on GAPSK.org and other partner channels.
The Executive Committee respects the final judgment of the judging panel based on their professionalism and experience, including the ranking, scores and comments, etc. The Executive Committee has the right to make the final decision, and participants are not allowed to disagree.
