Grading Criteria

The competition is divided into the Toddler (4-6 years old), Junior (7-9 years old) and Teenager (10-12 years old) groups, and the scoring criteria for each group are based on the following criteria:

Awards

There will be Champion, First, Second and Third Runner-up as well as Merit Prizes for each category of the Competition. Participants will be awarded with medals, certificates and other prizes as follows:

  • Formal invitations will be sent to the international participants of the winners of each category (Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up and Merit Award) to come to Hong Kong in person to attend the Award Presentation Ceremony and Learning Exchange Tour.

  • All winners and one companion will be invited to Hong Kong to attend a 3-day-2-night exchange tour and prize presentation ceremony. The Champion will receive free round-trip air tickets and full waiver of the exchange tour fee, while other winners will receive full waiver of the exchange tour fee (except air tickets).

  • For those who do not participate in the Semi-Finals, they may choose to apply for a "Finalist Certificate" (US$10 per event per person).

  • The Best Training Organization Award and the Best Instructor Award, both based on the total number of points won by the participating students, were presented by the organizer.

  • Each student received a certificate from the GAPSK Speech Contest Executive Committee and the Institute of Language Education at Peking University.
